Opuntia microdasys var. pallida -  'Bunny Ears': This is a must-have prickly pear cactus for any collection. The pad-like stems of this cactus create offshoots that develop into a bush-like structure. The yellow dots on the stems of this cactus are glochids, or clusters of very fine barbs that cause irritation when touched, so this cactus requires caution when handling. Large, bright yellow to orange trumpet-like flowers sprout from the top of this cactus. 

White Bunny Ear Cactus (Opuntia Microdasys Pallida) is the most attractive cactus. Dark green color with white dots and soft velvety cactus.

Light: Place your plant anywhere it can receive plenty of suns or bright light. Avoid intense, direct sunlight until the plant has acclimatized to its new environment.

Soil: Make sure the soil is moist at all times during the spring and summer months.

Water: Water when soil is dry to the touch, which is approximately every 7 - 10 days. Avoid water it daily. Water them more in spring and summer and less in winter, and it’s better to underwater them than overwater them.
